Description
The Turkoman is among the most popular oriental rug designs in the world. It is recognized by the stylized ivory blossoms woven in an overall pattern on a luscious red field. The field is surrounded by several borders containing more stylized flowers. Fanciful myths have evolved to describe the origin of the pattern-some say they are stylized elephant feet. The products came quickly and my order was complete. The bookmarks sold instantly! I definitely intend to order more. My only complaint is that I was kind of expecting the items to be made of wool, and they are not. The cors are beautiful and represents the Pendleton Wool designs flawlessly. I just wish I would've known they weren't actually made of wool.
