Myanmar coffee In this coffee you will find sweet, citrus and stone fruit notes. Coffee began to be cultivated in the region in the early 80s to replace opium crops. Of 125 localities in the region, 90 are dedicated to the cultivation of coffee by small producers on small farms of up to 1.2 hectares and all combine coffee plants with fruit trees, providing natural shade to the crops. Coffee has contributed to the development of the region in recent years, especially with the emergence of Myanmar among the countries that produce specialty coffees.
