Descriptions Exclusive contract farm product from Bali Batur Mountain Only having been around for about 10 years, the trading and distribution of coffee from the island of Bali to the Japanese market can be considered to have quite a short history. Nevertheless, Balinese coffee has already carved an important place for itself in the coffee scene within this short span of time. Several environmental conditions make the Batur Mountain region of Bali an ideal place for coffee production. It has rich volcanic soil, abundant water supply, and good drainage. Moreover, the climatic difference between the wet and dry seasons, and between the cold and warm temperatures contribute greatly to the flourishing of coffee plantations. Only 9 kilometers Southeast of Batur Mountain, which has become the center of coffee production in Bali, lies a small village called Tabih Village, at a spectacular height – an altitude of 1350 metes! We have signed an exclusive contractual agreement with the local farmers of this Tabih Village, and 56 families from this village produce 30 tonnes of coffee annually. The quality of coffee produced by this farm is incredibly high, as more than 95% of this coffee is distributed as G1 (Grade-1, the highest possible level of standard) coffee beans. The coffee production in this farm also stays true to our vision of preserving nature and is completely free of agrochemicals. The coffee is processed using traditional methods, hand-picking, and then distributed as our “original lot”.  Taste profile: This coffee is full-bodied and has a subtle bitterness that is complemented by a fruity aftertaste.
