BERBERS MARKET is a collaboration between digitization and the traditional art performance of the Berber tribes of Morocco. The Berber people live in nature and in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains in groups in each family complete the professional activity of the other. Their life is full of joy and Bohemia is historically linked to the land which gives them life and to the animals which bring them their raw material from which they draw their inspiration and their joy. They are merchants, farmers, and shepherds. The sheep of each tribe present very good quality wool with which the artist craftsmen weave rugs by hand in their individual houses in groups in an environment of love and good humor, a profession transmitted from generation to generation. Today, Berber women weave rugs for people all over the world who want authentic and unique products. Their creations, reflecting the tradition, the imagination, and the wisdom of their community which has been able to adapt and develop with the demand of the market, the creations of these local artisans cover the spaces of the most striking contemporary houses, this influencing decorators and designers from all over the world. We work with organic materials, noble and naturally well treated wool, using native dyes, weaving on traditional looms without using energy, washing the rugs by hand respecting traditional artisanal processes. And we take care of our collaborators who make them with care and love.
