About Amanda Surveski Wildlife Art

Amanda Surveski is a wildlife artist, inspired by the native plants and animals around her home in Connecticut and those she encounters on her travels. She has a degree in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and now works full-time as an independent artist and graphic designer. She works in a variety of media including graphite, watercolor, colored pencil and acrylic. She enjoys experimenting with digital media and trying new combinations of mixed media to create realistic textures and colors. Amanda has shown her work in galleries across the United States and worldwide and won numerous awards. In addition to her art Amanda also teaches drawing and nature journaling, works as a naturalist for Holland America Line in Alaska, has worked in wildlife rehab, creates audiobook covers for Tantor media, and shows her work at fairs and art shows around the New England area and across the country.
