As an artist, I draw much of my inspiration from the stunning landscapes of Ireland, with their rolling hills, winding coastlines, and rugged mountains. These natural surroundings shape my work, from the soft, neutral tones I use to the flowing, organic patterns that mimic waves and mountain peaks. I’m also inspired by the timeless techniques of traditional woodblock printing, which I admire for its bold, graphic style and craftsmanship. While my work has a more modern, fluid aesthetic, I strive to honor the simplicity and structure of woodblock printing, blending these elements to create something unique and timeless. Each piece I create is printed on high-quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, chosen for its rich texture and ability to showcase the detail in my illustrations. Sustainability is a core value of mine, and all my prints are packaged using biodegradable bags and recycled backing boards to minimize environmental impact. For me, art is about more than aesthetics—it’s about celebrating the beauty of nature, connecting to traditional methods, and creating meaningful, lasting pieces.
