Padraig McCaul is an award winning Dublin-born artist who has devoted his career to translating the untamed beauty of Ireland’s west coast into vibrant, emotionally charged oil paintings. 10 years spent years living on Achill Island, off the coast of Mayo was an experience that profoundly shaped his work. In 2015 Padraig launched Padraig McCaul Images, with the aim of publishing a collection of high quality Fine Art Print and Art Cards for the wholesale market. With images drawn from some of his most popular paintings the company now has over 50 stockists throughout Ireland as well as a growing number of outlets in the UK and USA. McCaul's paintings are inspired by the untamed landscapes and coastline of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. Achill Island, which is located off Ireland’s western seaboard has had a profound influence on his paintings, which are inspired by the natural beauty and colour of the surrounding landscape.
