About The Root Remedy

The Root Remedy is a black-female-founded wellness/beauty brand whose mission is to create community and inclusivity around wellness and beauty. We shift superficial objectives and provide a healthier alternative to taking beauty gummies. We strive to create an inclusive community around self-care, beauty, mental health, and wellness wherever you may be on your journey. The brand was created during the pandemic after I got sick and turned to herbal medicine to cure my symptoms. As a first-generation Jamaican-Panamanian & Native American descent, this came easy to me. I noticed that there were few wellness and beauty brands that felt inclusive and genuine, so I sought out a way to create a beauty gummy ingestible for the on-the-go health-conscious consumer. I also noticed that competitor formulas were filled with sugars and GMOs so I worked with a manufacturer to create a formula that was sugar-free, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. And just like that, The Root Remedy was created. Read their story
