About Karissa Viebeck Art

I have always been an artist, and when I had kids, my creative process was put on hold, for almost 7 years! I am also a full time therapist, so caretaking of others had become my defining role. I finally re-committed to prioritizing more time for myself - my creative process and my art. I have gravitated toward depicting scenes from the natural world that are associated to my own memories of adventure and liberation, predominantly using my own photos as reference images for my work. I hope to share my art with whomever it resonates with, and to provide high quality, locally made print reproductions of my work so that the outdoors can be brought into the homes or business of anyone who would like to be reminded of the fresh air, golden sunlight, and the richness and vibrancy that connection to nature brings.Read their story
