Discover New World Spice & Tea Traders®: A Journey of Flavor and Adventure Born in the wake of the pandemic, New World Spice & Tea Traders® is the result of our passion for experimenting with flavors and creating something extraordinary. What began as a way to add variety to our meals during a time when dining out wasn’t an option soon turned into a life-changing adventure. Leaving behind our first careers, we sought a path with more creativity, less stress, and greater control—ultimately leading us to share our love of spice and tea blending with the world. Starting as a small pop-up shop in Daytona Beach, Florida, we quickly realized the potential to do more. With a mission to deliver the finest quality and service to our community, we relocated to Ohio, bringing with us a spirit of exploration inspired by the 17th and 18th centuries' golden age of spice trading and piracy. Our shop is styled as a pirate’s den—a tribute to the daring men and women who defied empires to claim their share of the spice trade’s riches. Our mascots, Calico Jack Rackham and Anne Bonny, are a nod to that era’s rebellious spirit and serve as whimsical ambassadors for our “Mom & Pop” shop. You’ll find them proudly perched in our shop window, dressed to impress for every season.
