When in 1889 Nicola Milano began producing vinegar, he had a clear idea of product quality in mind. His son Andrea, after whom the company is named, continued his father's work in accordance with the teachings he received. Even in those days, vinegar was the result of a harmonious blend of raw materials, human dedication, and appropriate technology. Since 1889, Acetificio Andrea Milano has refined production techniques without ever losing sight of the great Italian winemaking tradition. The first barrels with beech shavings have given way to modern acetification equipment, but nothing has been sacrificed from the heritage of tradition and experience gained over more than a hundred years. In the 1990s, the fourth generation, led by Andrea and Francesco, represented a strong push for the company's growth, aiming at internationalization and acquiring a historic vinegar factory in Modena, which has today become the pride and joy of the company, allowing the expansion of the range with the production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI. Now in its fifth generation, with the entry of Fabio and Marcello into the company, Acetificio Andrea Milano positions itself as one of the most important production entities in the sector with three plants in Italy and exports to 65 countries worldwide. The combination of past and future, tradition and innovation, is one of the main objectives the company aims for. Art has no age!
