I started my degree at university of Derby where I studied BA (Hons) Textiles Design specialising in construction of woven fabrics. I graduated university in 2016 qnsg have been working hard ever since to start my own brand. Sammylou's Textiles is a locally run, sustainable and distinctive brand I have created from my home in Sheffield. I produce bespoke fashion and interior accessories made from my hand woven cloth. I created SammyLou's Textiles to allow me to follow my dream and use my creative talent. I am a Crohn's Survivor and have had a tough journey the last 4 years. As you can imagine no employer likes the idea of me spending month's at a time in hospital!
