About Patchy's

In 2023, brothers Ryan & Dylan Sirgiovanni came together to begin working on Patchy’s. After a lifetime of bouncing ideas off of each other, one day they were both laughing about how hard it was to get Ryan’s kids dressed for the beach. The almost impossible task of getting kids to keep their sun-protecting hats on, we joked that we should just make “Crocs for their heads”...and now here we are. Expanding on the idea, they roped their artistic dad Richard to help design original characters. We’re building out The PatchyVerse, a brand new universe of characters your kids will adore, which should keep Richard busy. Ryan’s kids naturally stepped into the roles within the Creative Department thanks to their unapologetic ‘tell it like it is’ demeanor. They always give us the brutal honesty when it comes to product development. If they won’t wear it, we won’t make it! It all starts with our kids, the reason we started Patchy's in the first place. Sun protection that stands out in a crowd was the goal, but we needed to have fun with it.Read their story
