4th Generation, Certified Organic Maple Farm located in Northern Wisconsin. Sapping since 1929 | Est. 1976 -FROM OUR FAMILY TRADITION TO YOUR FAMILY TABLE- Our family tradition of harvesting mineral rich, maple sap in Northern Wisconsin began just off the banks of the Potato River. Winters here are notoriously harsh, making each spring warm up as sweet as maple sugar. Spring of 1929 welcomed the first family evaporator and marked the beginning of our passion for sapping and the outdoors. After 47 seasons, Ragged Ass Syrup Company was born and has since been passed through the generations, evolving from hobby to legacy. Every tap symbolizes the importance of family tradition; and while sapping is sure to run you ragged ass tired, there is no replacement for the memories, traditions, and maple sugar it creates. Decades have since passed, as quickly as sap flows, but one thing remains the same. The mission of our family sugarbush is to continue sharing the tradition of sapping with those we love and with all of you! Your continued support drives us to preserve the quality of our maple products and the legacy of Ragged Ass Syrup Company.
