At Hill’s Southern Foods, we take immense pride in our commitment to excellence throughout every step of making the best beef jerky for our customers. I was taught by my stepdad back in the 90's on how to make deer jerky. He would make it and sell it to local bars for a couple of bucks for about a 2 oz bag. After I learned the trade of making beef jerky with his recipe, I started progressing the art of making beef jerky. As time went by, I stopped making it, but since family and friends wanted me to start making it again, I decided to get licensed. So I first got the approval of the Florida Department of Agriculture and consumer services to make it and sell it at festivals, farmers markets and even online. So that went great for a couple of years, until recently I got USDA approved to sell to retailer's. Now I'm in a out 6 convenience stores, 3 Ace Hardware Stores, Harley-Davidson, famous Daytona Beach Iron Horse Saloon, 2 grocery stores in Texas and now one in Michigan. God has blessed me with this adventure and I'm going to do everything I can to succeed, so I can raise my grandchildren and pay my bills. This is what it's all about folks,,, making people happy by giving them a great product, great price and the assurance that every bag we sell, will be as fresh as though we just made it. We are praying that we can get into bigger stores, so we can expand to newer heights. Family business since 2006. Thanks for reading by story. God Bless you all 🙏
