Bali Moon Jewels was birthed out of a love for all things unique and eye-catching, treasures that tell a story. Our jewelry company is female/disabled-owned. Owner Marisa Zeppieri wanted to create a place where she could share her love for eclectic, avant-garde pieces, all while helping people give back to others through the company's Shop For Good mission. About Our "Shop For Good" Mission: With every purchase of Bali Moon Jewelry, a percentage goes directly to New York nonprofit, LupusChick, and its college scholarship program. Founded in 2007, LupusChick.com is an award-winning website and social community that reaches 500K people per month living with autoimmune disease and chronic illness. In 2021, the nonprofit awarded its 15th college scholarship to someone living with lupus. Why is this education crucial? Because many people diagnosed with lupus or other chronic illnesses have to find different employment than what they were originally trained in in order to manage their illness better, attend treatment sessions, and countless doctor appointments.
