I'm Tara! My passion for everything knit and crochet all started while I was on mat with my first child in 2013. I learned to knit from my grandmother and haven't put the needles down since. I can't get into a car or watch TV unless I have my yarn and needles in hand. I always says its my "yoga." I also have a love for fashion and try to incorporate the latest trends into my designs. I always try to create pieces that are timeless and that will be staple items for every wardrobe-which is why I mostly use neutral colors. I get such joy out of seeing my designs come to life stitch by stitch. I hope you love wearing them as much as I love making them! My shop name, Lakeside Knits came from my love of being near water.
