Hi, I’m Isha. From a young age, I was drawn to the arts—especially creating functional pieces with my own hands. But for years, self-doubt kept me from pursuing it seriously. When I moved to Canada, I came with a dream: to break free from my insecurities and embrace what truly called to me. Like many first-generation immigrants, I took on full-time work to build a stable life. But after becoming a mother and witnessing the world shift during the pandemic, I had a realization—life is too short to let fear hold me back. I wanted my daughter to grow up knowing she could follow her dreams without hesitation. At 33, after four years of contemplation, I finally took the leap and started my pottery business. I’m incredibly grateful for my supportive husband, my encouraging brother, and the few dear friends who believed in me. Today, I am a self-taught potter, creating handmade ceramics from my home shed studio in Ontario, Canada.
