About Swax Candle Co

It all started when my boyfriend (Cameron) bought me a candle-making kit for Christmas of 2020 (or so he says... I still think he secretly bought it for himself). ​ After experimenting and creating a few candles, we discovered a shared passion for the craft. Through hard work and dedication, we spent almost a year testing and perfecting various combinations of wax, fragrance, and wicks until we finally achieved the perfect recipe with candle #168. ​ With our winning formula in hand, we set to work on other aspects of building our business, such as coming up with a name, signage, website, advertising, product photos, and packaging. Looking back, it was a lot more work than we initially realized, but it was all worth it when we received such positive feedback at local markets and launched our website to the public in December 2021. ​ The biggest milestone came when we finally opened our storefront, a dream that became a reality through the support of our community and customers. As we look to the future, we are excited to continue expanding our reach by participating in more local markets and making connections with other vendors in the area.
