About brin-de-coton

As a child, I spent most of my time in my grandmother's sewing studio. At the age of 8, it was a wonderful world for me, full of buttons, fabrics and balls. My grandmother taught me patience, attention to detail, and creativity. She showed me how to back stitch, assemble a stitch, or simply how to sew a button. Then I grew up and my grandmother left. In 2010, I discovered the world of amigurumi, these cute little crochet characters. Immediately, I picked up a crochet hook, old balls and cotton lying around in the bathroom (as a padding guide, yes yes) to make a little Legolas. Although unsightly, I was so happy with it! Since then, I have never stopped doing it, for my loved ones, for myself. In 2018, the idea of creating my store began to blossom, but my work takes up a lot of my time and I devote only a little time to this project. Then, because of Covid-19, I lost this job. It was the opportunity I was waiting for. To start, I imagined and created 3 rattles (unicorn, cat and rabbit), and I embarked on this crazy adventure. Brin de Coton was born.Read their story
