Liz Sanders is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Known for her Collage Doodle series, her work spans many mediums (acrylic paint to hand cut collage to digital drawings) and subject matters (abstract to illustrative to landscapes), all tied together by vibrant colors and joyful, uplifting imagery. Her work is inspired by a love for the handmade and reverence for the process of becoming. Her art practice has long been rooted in self reflection and processing her feelings through her creations. Art is her way to cope. It is a sacred communion with her soul. Her studio time is an intentional practice of joy enriched with serious play. Joy is an act of radical resistance to the grim feelings, to ease the burden of navigating mental health and the constant chaos of the world. She’s a true maximalist who loves working with surprising combinations of vibrant hues, texture and pattern. She spreads abundance and inspiration by living in full-color and sharing her passion for empowerment through creativity.
