About Amazit

Amazit was born from the meeting between Oscar and Mehdi about ten years ago. A Franco-Moroccan friendship that was created around shared values and a common passion: the love of good products and sharing. Very quickly, we realized the difficulty of finding certain key products of Moroccan and Amazigh (Berber) culinary culture in French stores. Even more so for local products where quality, traceability, and authenticity are the watchwords. Amazit aims to become a strong culinary intermediary between Morocco and France, specifically for roasted PGI Argan Oil and its derivatives, such as Amlou. Today, we have established a true relationship of trust and partnership with our partners in Morocco, particularly with some traditional women's Agricultural Cooperatives on site. We thus certify real traceability from the producer to the final consumer. Throughout the logistics chain, we emphasize local and artisanal work as much as possible, especially in the choice of our partners. Amlou is therefore produced in an artisanal cannery in Maine-et-Loire, with honey and fleur de sel originating from Loire-Atlantique.Read their story
