About Rancho Milagro

At Rancho Milagro, in Livermore, California, we grow four olive varieties – two Italian, Frantoio and Coratina, and two Spanish, Picual and Hojiblanca. They are uncommon among available olive oils. Both our Field Blend (all four varieties) and our Frantoio pleased the judges in 2025. Previously the land had been used for grazing cattle. We first planted olive trees in 2013, then more in 2014, and still more in 2016. We now have about 5000 trees over 40 acres. We started harvesting in 2016, and each year as the trees mature they produce more oil. We harvest by hand with a hired crew. The olives get to the mill quickly – within hours – to give you the best flavors. The bottled oil is made solely from the olives grown on our estate. Our Rancho Milagro Field Blend combines all 4 varieties in the original orchards. Since 2023, we've also offered Rancho Milagro Frantoio as a single variety on its own.
