ameia Frank-Jones moved to Houston, TX with her husband Byron and daughter Lauryn in 2014. In 2016 she had her second daughter Londyn, but suffered severly from post-partum depression. In search for something to uplift her spirits and provide an income for her family, she decided to start a fun business, Sweets with L&L gourmet cotton candy. With her daughters as inspiration, she invested $300 into her business and began selling cotton candy in a Baby Gap. After purchasing a small supply of product and just two small cotton candy machines from Kohl's, she began her journey as a entrepreneur. After amazing outcomes selling at multiple locations, she expanded to her own location. During her first year, she opened a kiosk at Memorial City Mall, grossing six figures. Following that, she opened her second location at the Galleria Mall in Houston, TX. Currently, they are in the process to open a new storefront 2021.
