Hi, I’m Shane Johnson. I’ve been a professional barber for over 16 years, with more than 50,000 haircuts behind the chair. Over that time, I learned something quickly: most grooming products weren’t made by people who actually use them every day. I was constantly guessing what was in the products I put on my clients’ hair — and whether they were helping or hurting the final result. In 2017, I decided to take control. I started formulating my own products so I could dial in exactly how hair should look, feel, and perform. That meant years of trial, error, long nights, failed batches, and constant refinement — all with one goal: create products that work the way a barber needs them to. By January 2019, Level Headed Pomade hit the shelves. Every product is built from firsthand experience behind the chair. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. No hiding what’s inside the jar.
