About Alchemy and the Sea
Alchemy and the Sea is nostalgia. I created this brand around summers spent collecting seashells with family. I would line my grandmother's porch with shells I collected and fill jars to the brim. Alchemy is the act of manipulating metal. Electroforming with copper from historic homes that have been torn down here in Savannah, GA; My goal is to create wearable memories and treasures for people to carry with them. I create with the intention of telling a story with each piece. The seashells, shark teeth, beach pebbles & beach glass are all from my travels and allow me to tell my story to the client. It is an instant connection when the client and I have traveled to the same places. My hope is that each piece becomes a conversation and allows the wearer to share their connection to it & in turn create connection to someone else.
