About TapestryFrame

Tapestry Frame was conceived by a desire to have an alternative photo frame for individuals and business to use to decorate their homes. Jonathan Maples makes each Tapestry Frame adhering to the ancient art of Hyousou, which is Japanese style framing. Jonathan Maples studied this art form in the native tongue in a Japanese studio of a prominent family with a deep history in this art. He has been refining his techniques since 2007, and formed his first company producing such products in 2009. Tapestry Frames can be made with many different types of fabrics, such silks, cottons, or synthetic materials. They are environmentally friendly using a starch based glue, (which many people call "rice" glue) to create the frame. There is no limit to the designs and possibilities of what kind of cloth customers can utilize to have an elegant modern new way to frame a photo.
