Laura Thompson is a mixed media collage artist living and working in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. After years of teaching art in public schools and brief stint in corporate marketing, she decided 2022 was the year she would take the leap into being a full-time artist. She spends her time making art, painting murals, teaching art classes, and showing her work at galleries, festivals and markets, and hopes to pave the way for more artists from less metropolitan areas to make meaningful and prosperous careers as full-time artists.
