Hello! My name is Jamie Poole and I am a collage artist from the United Kingdom! One of the main inspirations in my work is that I use words of poetry to create artwork based on subjects including landscapes, portraits, boats and particularly wildlife in the British Isles. I love animals and birds and rip and tear and cut printed paper words to create an exciting folk inspired style of art. If you look closely at the pictures you will often notice that lines of Poetry are visible and can be read within the imagery. The romantic poetry of the famous John Clare 1793-1864 really paints a vivid picture of the English countryside and is a constant source of inspiration to me. Clare was from Northamptonshire here in the UK which is where I live. My artwork is now available as open and limited edition prints, A5 and A6 greetings cards and a range of Christmas cards too. I have also produced table mats, coasters, prints on wood. I am also available for commissions and illustration work.
