About Bee Pontoon

My interest in bees began at the age of 12 in a small town in North Dakota. Beekeeping became an outlet for my energy, transforming into a lifelong passion and career. In 2002, I joined my father’s beekeeping business, upholding our family legacy. Twenty-three seasons later, my dedication remains unwavering. Observing water scarcity for bees in California and witnessing bees drowning due to their wings getting wet inspired me to create the Bee Pontoon. Traditional methods using twigs, sticks, and debris were inadequate, often failing to prevent bee drownings. The Bee Pontoon provides a reliable solution. The Bee Pontoon offers a safe, clean drinking spot, exemplifying my commitment to these essential creatures. Crucially, it prevents bees from drowning.
