About Fawnly

In my third pregnancy I developed a condition around 29 weeks where I began itching my palms and feet incessantly. It got progressively worse and made me very anxious. I needed something to take my mind off the itching so I taught myself how to watercolor. It quickly became a form or prayer and therapy for me and when I would paint and hand-letter my itching ceased. When my kids napped, I painted and each quote I painted was a fruit of my prayer. Fawnly was born out of a desire to share that sacred space in my life with others and hopefully help them to find a place of peace and stillness in their own lives. Fawnly comes from Psalm 42:2 where it says, "As a deer longs for running streams, so I long for you oh God." Fawnly’s mission is to bring mercy, justice, and peace into the world through affirming and healing words that you can wrap around your little ones, yourself, or meditate on as your move through your home. I pray that my work can help bring us back to that longing and that we can be like the fawn thirsting for flowing streams and trusting that He will satiate that thirst.Read their story
