Sélestine is a French jewelry company created in 2021. The brand's signature lies in the imagination and the handmade design of unique and bright glass pieces, assembled with quality and durable materials. The story of Sélestine is linked to that of its creator, Emilie, who has always loved to imagine and make objects with her hands. At the age of 10, she watched, in awe, the work of a glass blower, marking her imagination and triggering her attraction for glass work. A few years later, in 2021, Emilie decided to make this childhood memory a reality and launched her own line of fused glass jewelry, a technique used by glass artists for thousands of years. Each piece of jewelry has a different shine depending on the natural light outside and the movements of the body. Sélestine makes the majority of her creations in her workshop in Drôme Provençale, thanks to particular artisanal know-how, consisting in cutting pieces of glass and assembling them with other elements. Cooking in an oven at over 800 degrees for long hours allows the glasses to fuse together. The final pieces of glass may include up to ten different glasses. The Sélestine brand attaches great importance to working in collaboration with local structures.
