Former award winning wedding invitation designer turned decoupage artist. Art has always been my passion. After graduating from The School of Visual Arts with a degree in graphic design, I launched a successful wedding invitation business where I specialized in creating elaborate custom invitations for local and nationwide brides. In 2020, everything changed with the pandemic. Many businesses were impacted, including those in the wedding industry. I needed to find another outlet for my creativity. My serendipitous search led me to a box of oyster shells lying around the house, and the idea of turning them into decoupage trinket dishes.
