Hi, I’m Roberta. The world can be a noisy and complex place. I create simple, organic, landscape and abstract paintings with the hope of inspiring moments of calm. I like to paint the “feeling” of a place rather than the details and am inspired by the rustic simplicity & light of the prairies. I work in a variety of mediums including watercolour, acrylic and collage with hand-painted translucent paper. A little about me. I am a prairie girl who loves the understated beauty and big open skies of Saskatchewan, Canada, where I live with my husband and our three young-adult children. After a career in Physical Therapy, I have transitioned to working from home as a mom and artist. I love to paint from my sunlit studio (aka the kitchen table) amidst the quasi-organized hustle and bustle of our family life.
