You pronounce the “row” in Rowster like “row your boat” – a nod to both the clean, fresh waters of West Michigan and the waters of each global region from which Rowster sources beans. Founded in 2008, Rowster was the first 100% specialty coffee roaster in Grand Rapids, MI. Their focus is on delivering the highest quality of brew, every time. It began as a one-man operation in the back of a local gallery. The roasting methods have not changed; sourcing the highest quality beans and roasting all coffee in 20 pound batches, by hand.
