Our ancestors knew the value of living harmoniously with nature. Their ways, the old ways of treating injuries and disease using what is in nature, are now at the forefront of medicine in a new way. At Naturamedic we create skincare, muscle salves, tinctures, and bath products using old family recipes with a modern twist. We believe that self-care is the first step in preventing disease (dis-ease) in the body. A healthy body creates space for a healthy spirit. Naturamedic has always been about more than just the business of making products for people. Naturamedic started as a need for a mother to treat her son's eczema and asthma in a natural way. As he grew older, she continued to formulate remedies for his skin as well as salves for his muscles after a long day of running through the woods with NJROTC. While realizing that her body did not react well with prescription medicines and her skin was sensitive to just about everything as well, she was happy that she had been brought up with the wisdom of a grandmother who knew natural healing as a way of life.
