About Pattern Gems

Criselda had been an elementary art teacher for 15 years. One day while teaching remotely during the pandemic, she realized that she was urging her art students to pursue their dreams, however she wasn’t doing it herself. So that year, she made the decision to resign from her stable job. She embarked on an unknown journey as an entrepreneur to follow her passion and do just what she had been preaching for 15 years; to follow her dream of living a creative life and make a living from it. This is how Pattern Gems were born. She creates each unique piece in her small studio at home, in the middle of the Chihuahuan Desert. Criselda manually die cuts each of the shapes in various sizes and patterns. She then aligns them in unique, surprising and visually pleasing ways. The shapes are attached to each other forming clusters and unified as a whole jewelry piece. Finally, the earrings and necklaces are ready to be worn and add a surprising pop of color to any outfit. Pattern Gems are made by hand from start to finish. Therefore, each piece is as unique as the story of their creator herself. Read their story
