FHAR Studio is my one-woman business, established in 2022 after a career as a sculptor and prop maker following my fine art studies. My journey into ceramics began in 2019, leading me to fully dedicate myself to this passion. The name FHAR Studio honors my grandmothers, Huguette and Andrée, both entrepreneurial women. Their spirit of independence and strong family values are central to my work as a French immigrant in the USA. Living in Los Angeles inspires my creative process, encouraging experimentation across diverse styles while maintaining a distinct signature that blends sophistication with whimsy. In my Santa Monica studio, I personally design and handcraft each piece, starting from a simple ball of clay. My functional dinnerware aims to transform everyday dining by creating practical yet aesthetically beautiful pieces intended to enhance the sensory experience of a meal. I also create quirky porcelain sculptures, which serve as a canvas for my imagination and storytelling. These pieces invite viewers to engage with their playful and sometimes surreal elements, sparking curiosity and wonder.
