About Andrea Morris Art

My name is Andrea Morris, and I am an artist based in Portland, OR. I have a love for small moments, and that love is demonstrated through both a camera and a carving tool. Within my work, you will find bold colors, sharp contrasts, and a fascination with the tiny sparks of joy that are present all around us. I began as a nature photographer and fell in love with capturing the snails, mushrooms, and sea stars that line our PNW landscapes. After being introduced to linocut in 2024, I fell deeply in love with the process of documenting my favorite things entirely by hand. Both mediums hold a special spot in my heart, and being able to do them in my daily routine offers continual fresh perspectives. Read their story
