About The Hermit Calamari Jerky

We started The Hermit after wandering though night markets and konbini all across asia, where squid jerky is a staple. Our mission is to introduce this gourmet, sustainable and hyper-clean protein snack to American adventurers. We begin with the world’s tastiest calamari: 100% wild-caught from an MSC-certified fishery in California. We marinate it with only organic, premium ingredients (no BS), zero sugar, and gently dry it to achieve a classic jerky texture. Read their story
