About Dash of Pride, LLC

Dash of Pride is a queer-owned online store based in Portland, Oregon, founded in 2020 by Jenna Szyluk. The idea was born while Jenna was planning her wedding and discovered how underrepresented the LGBTQ+ community was in the event décor and supply market—making it unnecessarily challenging to celebrate such an important milestone. Jenna holds a B.S. in Design from Syracuse University and personally creates each of Dash of Pride’s unique designs. When she’s not designing, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has been happily married to her wife for seven years, and together they have four children, four large dogs, and one cat. Whether hiking, skiing, playing on the river, attending their kids’ sporting events, or traveling the world, they’re always seeking new adventures. Recently, Jenna has experienced a shift in her life and embarked on a new chapter. Her daughter, Sawyer, will now be taking over business management and order fulfillment. As a transgender woman, Sawyer feels deeply connected to Dash of Pride’s mission and is passionate about continuing to celebrate and uplift everyone in the LGBTQ+ community. Supporting the LGBTQ+ community is at the heart of Dash of Pride’s mission. A percentage of all proceeds is donated throughout the year to organizations such as Family Equality, the It Gets Better Foundation, and the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund.
