About Beyond Beads

Wellkind Guatemala and Beyond Beads’ mission is to “Empower Guatemalans living in extreme poverty to help themselves through sustainable projects that improve education, nutrition, vocational skills, and create jobs.” We are working together to improve the environmental and economic situation for the indigenous Kaqchikel communities where we work. Our programs have been created by listening to the needs of leaders in the community and partnering with local youth to create appropriate solutions to the problems they face.
