We are a Canarian family company Ledesma Global S.L. in love with our beautiful land and its riches, a lover of health and nature. On our farm in La Florida, in the San Lorenzo Valley, under the slopes of Mount Teide, we take care of our succulent and wild Tuneras that parade through the ravine riverbed. At TUNOCANARIAS we are dedicated to producing products made from the processing of the fruits of the RED FIG, also called Tuno ROJO or Tuno Indio. Scientific name Opuntia Dillenii, grown on our own farm in Valle San Lorenzo, Arona, in addition to processing in our technological warehouses to extract the pulp and obtain our precious RED FIG with all the nutraceutical properties that have been discovered worldwide. This is where the idea of sharing the benefits of this medicinal fruit that brings us so much, the Indian Tuno Fig or the red pico fig, as we called it when we were children, was born. The prickly pear on the islands is born wild and NATURAL, totally ecological and environmentally friendly. Its nutritional value multiplies that of most fruits and is another element to complete our diet. Rich in nutrients, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber, it makes a wonderful and beneficial addition to your diet for both culinary and healthy/therapeutic/medicinal purposes.
