About Music Box Mercantile

Music Box Mercantile is a small business and wood shop in Lebanon, TN. We are Maegan & Zachary Cates Husband and wife team- we are high school sweethearts that have a love and passion for music and creating. Music has been a huge part of our lives and our healing. Zachary is also a recording engineer and musician himself and we live with our beautiful kids, dogs, and cat near Music City! Music Box Mercantile was created in 2020 under a different name Timber & Twine. We have now relaunched in 2023 as Music Box Mercantile. A Marketplace that gives back with a combination of our handmade items and music gifts. We wanted the most important part of our business to be giving back in whatever way we can. We wanted to help transform lives through the power of music. We are thrilled to be partnered with two different non profits that help bring music to low income families and to people in care giving settings. Read their story
