About Abcg productions

We are ABCG Productions, the creators of the DeMelans. We are Loughborough university graduates currently working in the Civil Service. Our main aim is to champion black representation for children as we feel it is important for black children to see book characters that look like themselves, that they can relate or look up to. Our first book called 'The Adventures of the DeMelans: Carnival Catastrophe' touches on the sickle cell disease as we want to raise awareness about it! We both know people who have the disease and know the impact it has on the lives it affects.Read their story
