What started as a love for coffee in 2012, turned into a lifetime of love & partnership. In 2016, owners Erich and Courtlyn met for the first time when Courtlyn served Erich a cup of Costa Rican coffee over the bar at Coffee Corral for the first time. Little did Erich know, he'd marry the coffee shop & roastery owner in 2020, two days before the world shut down for a pandemic. After a canceled honeymoon, Erich quickly found himself helping Courtlyn hustle to keep the store alive during a very trying time. Before he knew it, he made a career change and joined Courtlyn at Coffee Corral full time. Though, he still likes to say Courtlyn will always be the boss, the newlyweds quickly became a force to be reckoned with as business partners. With Erich at the helm handling all roasting, wholesale, and front-of-house operations, and Courtlyn overseeing the business end, this newlywed couple threw everything they had into Coffee Corral. Quickly learning how to be married, work together, and be business partners, they became the epitome of a Coffee Shop Love Story. As for roasting, Erich takes a tremendous amount of pride in every coffee that he produces. He spends an exceptional amount of time, profiling, cupping, and perfecting every coffee sold by Coffee Corral, to ensure the best possible product for customers & clients alike.
