On the hills of Lake Bolsena, at about 400 m above sea level, there is the Battaglini Farm and Oil Mill, where olive trees of 4 main varieties are grown, in full respect of nature: moraiolo, Caninese, Frantoio and Leccino. At the right moment of ripening, the olives are harvested by HAND and COLD pressed (max 27°C) within 12 hours. This system preserves the natural substances contained in fresh olive and gives Battaglini extra virgin olive oil aromatic nuances appreciated in all Mediterranean dishes. The Battaglini Family Company has been dedicated to extra virgin olive oil for three generations, since 1935, when Nazzareno Battaglini started the business. In the 80 years since its foundation, his son Bruno and now his grandchildren Andrea and Stefano have turned their commitment to the search for quality, adopting the best of existing possibilities, always respecting of tradition and nature. The numerous awards and the numerous appearances on oil guides, Italian and foreign, testify to the constant dedication of the Battaglini family to the production of a high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
