As a teenager, Madame Hippolyte retrieved her father's naval officer's jackets to wear, but had to change the epaulettes so as not to usurp ranks. This is how the idea of offering removable shoulder pads thanks to a magnetic system was born. From there, why not customize as you want, without damaging the fabrics, and offer not brooches, but real “trompe l'oeil” to transform your clothes? Arriving in France in the 1920s, Madame Hippolyte's great-grandmother opened a fashion house with two cousins who were also exiled from Russia. There is little left of his extraordinary know-how today, except for an icon, which you have to get very close to see that it is not painted, but embroidered with thread. This is how Madame Hippolyte wanted to put embroidery at the center of her creations.
