Ezra Coffee is a specialty coffee brand connecting coffee, culture & history. We offer mixed-origin, naturally flavored blends bold in flavor & allergen-free. Our blends highlight significant stories & individuals within our collective history, giving you a boost of energy & empowerment in every cup. Ezra is Hebrew for “he who helps” & is the core of Ezra Coffee. Ezra’s founder, Jessica Taylor, created Ezra out of a side passion, a commitment to education, storytelling & community. Her summers sipping coffee with her sister & grandfather grounded her love for coffee. When her sister developed food allergies & could no longer consume specialty coffee drinks, she began experimenting with flavoring beans. Once Jessica perfected her flavoring process & saw the impact it had on her sister’s life, she knew she had to share her allergen-free blends with others. As a former educator, Jessica incorporates a dose of knowledge in every blend. Her goal with Ezra is to create rich coffee & to create a space for BIPOC culture & history to enrich lives. Every Ezra blend highlights significant events, individuals, experiences & untold stories of African-Americans & the larger BIPOC diaspora that have greatly contributed to our collective American history. Ezra’s commitment to community is built into our business model, donating a portion of our proceeds to support students pursuing 4-year degrees through bi-annual scholarships.
