From the German “longing for distance”, FERNWEH is the only term in the world that best describes the history of our brand: in fact, it expresses that emptiness that is felt by being trapped in everyday life and the need to escape, to go elsewhere, even if only with the mind, towards a better and more fulfilling reality, to seize the opportunities and infinite alternatives that the world has to offer. The choice of the name derives precisely from this desire for freedom, escape, to leave and open up to new and unknown experiences in order to leave behind the past, everyday life and its negative situations. The idea was born in 2017, in the heart of Salento, by Luana Stefano, a young and ambitious 26-year-old girl. Always a lover of the beauty of female forms and what fashion can transmit through her creations, Luana felt the irrepressible desire to give life to something unique, able to express herself herself and every woman who, like her, feels the need to stand out in the fashion scene not only in design, but also in the fit and quality of the garments worn. Craftsmanship, care, extreme precision are the heart of FERN•WEH. Our costumes are small jewels, able to adapt perfectly to female shapes, enhancing and enhancing them. The fine fabrics we have chosen are the result of a long research, aimed at guaranteeing a unique experience for those who choose us. Each of our creations is strictly Made in Italy.
